Overview

From international best-selling author Bradley Trevor Greive, a revised edition of the classic gift book celebrating friendship that has sold over 1/2 million copies, featuring newly hand-colored photos throughout and additional jacket enhancements.

Friends and life. Life and friends. As New York Times best-selling author Bradley Trevor Greive points out inside this updated edition of Friends To The End: The True Value of Friendship, the two are so tightly interwoven that it's impossible to imagine one being remotely worthwhile without the other. Newly hand-colored photographs and author-illustrated end papers have been fused with BTG's witty trademark narrative to explore the daily magic we experience through our friends.

What makes friends so special? What does our choice of friends say about us? What sparks the best friendships and keeps them burning? Friends to the End examines why we can't live without friends, how great friendships grow from humble beginnings, how to identify different types of friendships, what to do when good friends turn bad, and why it's all so worthwhile. As BTG explains, "When I think back to all the really great or the horrendously bad times in my life, I can't help but think about how my friends made the former all the more enjoyable and the latter at least survivable. I want this book to help people appreciate friendship for all it is and all it can be."

Book is great for a gift!

My best friend got me this book. She just told me 'I got something for you when I went to the book store' and gave me this book. I opened it and it had all our inside jokes written on the inside and in the back, and on one blank page she wrote a poem about our friendship. I read the book and through every page, I kept thinking 'Damn, this is exactly how we are together'. This book is really true and I recommend it to everyone that has a best friend and they really love them but don't exactly know how to say it in person, because you can definetly say it with this book and make them see that you really do care. Bottom line, this book is really cute and fun to read.

    Wonderful Book

I first picked up this book at a local department store, after reading it, I ordered several more copies for Christmas presents for my girlfriends. It's a 'little' book that is so easy to breeze thru and read, but at the same time, it is so true. There is at least one, if not more, pages that everyone can relate to. I love it...

Friends to the End...a summary of many friendships.

when gazing through the book store shelves, I noticed a cute little book...' Friends to the End', so I immediatley picked it up, and started reading it...I noticed that almost every page reminded me of my best friend and I...every page was funny and touched you in the warmest part of the heart...i walked away with a new purchase and a smile. i recommend this to every best friend...or close family member.. i know you will immediatley think of all your memories while flipping the pages. and though it isnt a novel, its something you will want to show all your friends.

    Must-Buy!

I received one of these books from one of my best friends. She isn't one for touchy words or lengthy conversations, so when she gave me this, I was thrilled. Every single page described our friendship, and it made me laugh and cry and smile, all at once. It's a lovely book, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a gift for a friend - it truly is a wonderful book.

    I Also Recommend:

The title and accompanying cover illustration is so eye-catching and attention getting. It challenged me to pick up the book immediately to see what it had to offer, and I was rewarded with many meaningful thoughts about friendship.

At this point in my life, I don't read many lengthy books, but I appreciate a good quick read which says something meaningful to me. "Friends to the End" fills this requirement completely. In this day and time, friendships are so necessary to balance our daily lives, and those of us in these relationships need reminders of the meanings that healthy friendships can evoke.

This very clever book did exactly that for me with quirkiness, humor, thoughtfulness and love. The illustrations were wonderful and so entertaining.

"Friends to the End" is a wonderful gift for many occasions or simply to say "I appreciate you and our friendship" to someone very special.
