    Favorite Journal!

I just filled up my red medium Miquel Ruis journal, so I tracked down B&N's black one. I mistakenly bought 4 of the mediums, when I had intended to buy the large size (OK, I'm a little crazy sometimes). I love them so much, with the wipe off plastic cover and colored sections, that I will keep the mediums and order 4 large ones! I do like the Black N Red brand's spiral notebook, with the elastic bookmark as well, but didn't find them here. I am using one at work. They have the advantage of thicker paper for writing on both sides. But these have the advantage of colored sections. They both have wipe off covers. I like writing in both, and hope to see at B&N:

    - more colors of the Miquel Rius journals
    - Black N Red large size, and medium, too if it is available

    Highly Recommended

These notebooks are awesome. As a full-time collge student, I take pages and pages of notes in class. With the smoothness of these pages and a gel pen, there is very litle drag so it's easier on my arm. I also like to scan my class notes into my computer, and these pages tear out easily and go through the autofeed on my scanner without hanging up. Wilson Jones View-Tab student notebooks are also good, but this notebook has colored edges so you can divide each class by the six colors provided or one color for calculations, one color for textbook notes, one for lecture notes, et cetera.

I have used these Miguel Ruiz graph paper journals for a few yea

I have used these Miguel Ruiz graph paper journals for a few years now. Sometimes I can find them in the Barnes and Nobel store and sometimes not. But they are perfect for a person who writes large -and is an avid journal-er.
The paper quality is superb - smooth to the touch.  And the ink flows evenly and dark onto the page. The graph paper lets me write big or  draw and illustrate and be as creative as needed.  I just ordered 4 more so I don't run out.

    The best notebook for math/engineering/science

Finding an affordable graph paper notebooks in the USA is a challenging undertaking. Large Spiral Miquel Ruis Journal just nailed it. I like pretty much everything in this notebook: paper quality, size of the graph squares, spiral binding, perforation, colors, you name it. For someone who does math, engineering, technical drawings it is a God sent product.

i origionally bought this for journaling purposes; the free flow of the grid pages is so wonderful and it's really helping me write. i'm actually thinking about buying one for my calculus class this year for note taking. the product is well put together and the bright colors are so asthetically pleasing. A Journal with Lines

Some people like journals without lines, a totally empty page, I like journals with lines,
This one is very nice. Hardcover binding to withstand the hard knocks of life.
The pages are like graph paper with the little squares, so that adds to it for the infrequent drawing.
And the pages are big, full size with easy spiral binding to turn the pages.
    IT's Great!!!!!!

    A Surprise

I bought this notebook, thinking it would be filled up (and maybe I would need another one) by the end of a semester in intense note-taking college classes. I used all 6 sections, and it's already the middle of the semester--and I have barely finished 10 pages, let alone 50 in each section. I write quite alot, so this was definitely a surprise. The paper quality is excellent--so much so that I cannot go back to a regular notebook, ever. It pairs well with my uniball 207 signo, and it's also good with liquid rollerball pens (but since I write alot, and quickly, I can't afford to let the paper dry). I bought the grid-ed one because there was no lined one at the time, and its lines were thinner than the regular-rule, which is really good. It's such a good investment trust me, you'll pay less if you buy one of these, rather than buying a few notebooks for each class.
