    Great research journal

I always use these for keeping track of all my notes: research, meetings, ideas, calculations that need more space than fits in my head.. :)

Quality is always great -- it never falls apart, despite much abuse.

    A reviewer

I've been shopping for a moleskine for months and months and finally decided on this one. I'm very disappointed. The bookmark ribbon just fell off after only two week's use. The ink from my pen (just a regular pen!) shows through on the next page. I'm very, very disappointed and won't buy another moleskine. It's too bad - the "squared" pages with graph paper are a nice feature, as is the professional look of the cover. I'm searching again for a nice journal/planner. Not worth the $$!!

Moleskine notebooks are superb acid free paper with built-in folders, excellent for notes and/or sketching.
Markers and heavy pressing bleeds through on occasion.
I use fountain pens and they work fine, so do the occasional ballpoint and roller ball.

    Love this notebook!

I really like this notebook. I have two at a time- one for business meetings and one for personal notes. I really like the beige background. So much easier on the eyes than bright white. Also, the grid pattern makes notetaking interesting and easy. The flexible cover is great- not so soft and not too stiff. Highly recommended by this user.

    Great Gift

I got this book for my brother for chirstmas, he loves it. He's had so many of them because he's always taking notes. And it is such a good quality and many different designs.

    My EVERYTHING notebook!

I love this notebook and use it for everything! It's my daily notes at work book; it's my journal; it's my sermon and lecture notebook; it's my planning notebook. I carry it with me everywhere and jot down just about everything. I prefer the grid to lined pages because I like keeping things lined up, etc. I'm a bit of a geek that way.

    Perfect for note taking

You need the right type of pen for this. I found that the uni-ball Signo 207 works the best.

My office staff is devoted to Moleskine!

We have about a dozen people who use these religiously for daily notes in the office and on the road. They really like the functionality and style of the squared journals the best. Some keep them as long term records going back years! (Never had a problem with bookmarks or elastic bands.) Heavy marker-style pens do bleed through the pages, but regular ink or gel pens are fine for 2-sided notes. My only problem is keeping them in stock!
