I returned the viewer (it was a present) because I am a student and didn't find it to be big enough for my purposes. I need something larger so I could have the book underneath and highlight while reading. Though it is on a stand (that is great), the magnifyer itself is quite small requiring me to either move the book back and forth or the mangifyer.

Almost every time we visit my dad he mentions how much he uses the magnifying glass we gave him for his birthday. Excellent product - Great gift!

This magnifier has been a lifesaver for my 91 year old mother. She uses it daily when working the crossword puzzle in the newspaper and for reading any other small print. The light feature really helps and she says there is no distortion of the print. The hands free feature keeps her from having to continually pick up or put down the magnifier. Great for anyone with difficulty seeing small print.

the concept is great, but the light is not strong enough, you have to position it just right to use.

It seems to be very well made. Everything was great until we tried to put the batteries in. I finally gave up and looked for instrutions, there are none
