    A Review for...Bookends!?

I was unaware that my set of Thinker Bookends warranted review. As far as bookends go they are great! Do you see how solid and heavy they appear in the provided image? Well my friend, that's because they really are solid and heavy. Whether you have a taste for collecting bookends, need a weapon to bludgeon an unwanted guest to death with or your books keep falling over Rodin's Thinker bookends are the set for you. If you're like me and you don't feel like paying $40 to have some polished rocks as bookends, then I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how classy this set looks on your shelf.

    Excellent bookends

This is an excellent product. The bookends are sturdy and heavy, so they can hold a lot of books in place. The color is subtle, a brown and almost a brass type look, and the bookends will contribute to the décor of any room. The quality seems relatively high. Reviews of some similar products mention that those products come chipped. I did not have that problem with these bookends and do not see how they could be easily damaged. In short, I would highly recommend purchasing this product whether for your own home or to give as a gift to others.

    Large, heavy, impressive

These bookends are beautifully sculptured. They will look impressive wherever you display them. They function very well as bookends, easily holding even the heaviest books in place. Highly recommended!

    Nice bookends

Very nice bookends. About 5 lbs each, which is less than the shipping weight of 13 lbs leads one to believe. Still, heavy enough for most loads though certainly not for large heavy books.

    No second thoughts!

The bookends serve their purpose... being good and reliable bookends. There might be some concern on wheter the designs resemble the originals or not but if you are not really into specifics they'll be just fine. They are strong, heavy, and sturdy holding even the heaviest of books. Plus, it's always important to have a weapon of opportunity at hand.

    They look like monkeys

I returned these bookends because while Rodin's style was to do a rough surface on many of his sculptures, I feel he'd be rolling over in his grave if he saw these. The faces look like chimps--no definition whatsoever and the original is more detailed and the sculpture appears more "human."
