I bought this Globe/Armillary for my entertainment center, and what a great decision it was. The entertainment center is rustic looking, an the armillary goes well on one of the shelves. The globe is well made. No air bubbles or seams found. Quality map on the globe as well. The brass, while somewhat flimsy, looks great. The walnut colored wood base is attractive as well. Next, I'll be getting a Galileo Thermometer, a Water Barometer, and a 30 minute Hour Glass. I believe they'll all go well with each other. It has to be said, my wife wasn't too keen on having a globe/armillary displayed on the entertainment center; however, since buying this, she is glad to have it on display. If you, or someone you know, wants a globe or an armillary, this would be a great choice.
