Hands Down, the best gift I've ever purchased.

I purchased this book for my fiance, who has the most vivid memory of anyone i know. He remembers great details of things that happened when he was as young as 5 years old! He is 44 now, and I needed a way to preserve those memories. He absolutely loved it. It is perfect. He writes in it regularly. Tons of thought provoking questions about childhood, life, love, regrets, dreams, goals, etc...that truly help you to dig into the recesses of your mind. I'm online now about to order one for my parents and grandparents. A very thought-provoking and personal gift.

    wonderful book

I first bought this as a gift for a friend of mine that has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. She loves it. Since then I have purchased another for her and one for myself. She has two children, I wanted her to be able to make a duplicate. I have one daughter, I would like to be able to leave that for her to eventually pass on to her child.

    GREAT

i bought this about 3 days ago and i just opened it up a couple hours ago i filled out one section and instantly i was hooked! im actually buying a copy right now to give to my mom, if you want something that will last virtually forever and you just want something that you can look back on and remember those special moments, this book is for you! i recommend it to everybody, only thing is it asks questions about graduated high school so if you giving this to a 16 yearold they might want to hold off for a while on those questions .

Depends on what you want to do.

I wanted to write a type of memoir for my grandchildren and family. Most of the questions asked in this book would be more suitable for a psychological profile. I didn't feel comfortable answering the questions for everyone to see. But if you want to conduct a self-evaluation, go for it.

    A Great Interface With Yourself.

This is a very special book. It puts you in touch with all the facets that makeup who you are. Whether you are a nature or nurture proponent, you will discover so very much about exactly who or what has made you who you are. And the beautiful part of this is that you can share all this information with your family, and present it as a much treasured legacy to those who love you so well. And lo! And behold, you may be in for a few surprises about yourself. Buy this book, work it yourself and know the truly blissful feeling of freedom of expression and knowledge of your true self.

A journal that helps you without the blank pages staring at you

I love this journal!!! For a while I have either started writing a journal and get into a unwanted place with my writing or I feel the pressure of the blank page and stop writing. THIS TIME IT'S DIFFERENT! This journal guided you through. First it reviews the purpose of each section and gives you examples. Each section encourages you with a motivating quote about creating a long lasting memory of the life you lived and will live.
It is by far the best was to remember myself, introduce myself to future generations and to examine some thought provoking issues made to stretch you. I am looking forward to journaling every night. It's not a chore, it's a pleasure.

Bought this book as a gift for my mother on her 56th birthday, and I'm so glad I did.  It has neat little directions like, "the circumstances of your birth were unique..." and then instructs you to write about the day you were born.  It has a couple hundred of these prompts, so I encouraged my mother to fill out a couple a day for a year.  I cannot wait to see it all when she's done!

    Gift for my daughter

`I can't really say how I liked this book as it was a gift for my daughter. She loves these type of quiz books where she can answer questions about herself and her life. She actually picked it out in the store and had a choice of about 5 different books of the same type. She is enjoying it, so I would say if this is the "type" of book you enjoy it must be one of the best available!
