The new Reference series amplifiers build upon Infinity?s reputation for performance and design that?s been leading the industry for almost 40 years. The Reference series features a high-performance PWM MOSFET power supply for optimal power and minimal distortion. Reference series subwoofer amplifiers utilize high-frequency Class D switching technology, which is far more efficient than traditionalClass A/B power amplifiers. Class D circuitry allows for voltage switching, which manages the poweroutput to ensure peak performance with minimum drain on your vehicle?s charging system.

Flexibility is the name of the game, with high and low-level inputs for easy integration with any system, preamp outputs to feed additional amplifiers, and a variable 32-320 Hz low-pass crossover to tailor the output to your subs. A built-in variable 50Hz boost adds just the right amount of low frequency contour for a superb bass foundation. A new low-profile heatsink design adds installation flexibility as well. The outer shroud can also be removed and painted for a true custom-look to bring together your custom theme.

The 1600a is a high-performance, single-channel amplifier capable ofpushing over 600 watts of crystal clear sound. Infinity's proprietary Dynamic Bass Optimizer (DBO)circuit matches variable bass boost with a variable subsonic filter to enable low frequency fine-tuning while still providing robust speaker protection. Other features include two sets of parallel output terminals for easy connection of multiple woofers, and a remote level control (RLC). The Reference series is the perfect balance of power, flexibility, and value that only Infinity can deliver.
