I ordered 9 (small) shelves, thanks to a previous reviewer that stated the small size is perfect for your basic 10 by 6 hard cover books. yes, you do need to have a hard cover as the first book to work properly. Really easy to install. You don't need to drill into a wall stud, and if things seem unstable, just add some wall anchors and you'll be fine. Can hold about 9+ books depending on weight and size. This is a really great idea... modern... and cheap!!!

LOVE IT

I bought this about 2 months ago. I loved it so much I just bought another one about a week ago. I reccomend it to anyone who has a few books just sitting around. It is sturdy and looks really neat. Paperback boooks do not work with this shelf but the smaller hard books work great. the only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't tell you what size books will fit on a small. A 10 inch by 6 inch book is perfect for the small ones and school textbooks are best for the Large

Perfect

I bought these since I had no available space in numerous bookcases. I put these (a total of 7 shelves) above my patio doors (also no room for curtains due to bookcases) and they are wonderful. Be aware if you buy the large shelf due to the fact that regular hardbacks are still to small. But this small shelf is great for hardbacks and trade paper books. The large shelf was available instore. The small shelf is PERFECT!

Artistic and Functional

I have several of these around my room, and I love them! They save space, and people are always impressed with how beautiful they look. These are so worth the price!

Cool

These shelves are so easy to put up and inexpensive. They are great way to display books. They take up little space and look very neat and modern. They have proved to be a great conversation piece as well.

Ordered this item which shows it usually ships in 24 hours. Two days later I get an email from Barnes & Noble that the order has been canceled. Emailed customer service to inquire why and they tell me that they can't get one? Then why does it still show as available in 24 hours?

I'm trying to decide whether to buy 4 or 5 of them! All of the reviews are pretty good, so I'm excited to buy them!! My best friend has them and they look amazing! I'd give them 5 stars! 

Great for book display

I highly recommend the small floating invisible bookshelf. It's perfect for displaying books in a new and artistic way. I would suggest the small shelves over the large, as the large seem too big for even my biggest books to conceal as intended. Although the shelves are very durable, I suggest using a stud in the wall for maximum strength and stability. Great gift idea for the book lovers in your life!

Cool, easy to install and affordable

My Grandma bought me 2 for Christmas and we just put them up today. They look great, I was able to put 8 books on (all paperback but one.) And I just now ordered two more because they are just that great. I highly recommend these.

Awesome for tween/kids room!

I bought four of these bookshelves. I put two bookshelves in each of my son's bedrooms. They both love them. They show everyone their magic floating shelves.

I love how it looks on my wall, and I love how my friends look at it while their trying to figure it out. So simple but so cool.

Great price, great product

These are truly outstanding -- have had 15 of them in use for 10 months in a library room that had no more room for freestanding shelves. Have had no problems with them -- they look terrific and get many, many compliments. Wish I'd thought of the idea on my own...Great price, great product.

I have so many books around the house, and so little room to have bookshelves on the floor. This is a wonderful idea! I have one shelf holding eight books, of coarse they are diffrent size and weight. If you have tons of books and little space, this is great!

High on looks, low on function

The shelf is a great topic when guests are over, and looks amazing on an empty wall. But I've noticed that it doesn't hold more than 4 hard-cover books without begining to bend a little south of horizontal. The manufacturer doesn't recommends a load of over 6kg, but I've only tried half as much and it does bend a bit... Still, I'd buy another couple of Concealers all over again.

Beautiful and fun

Friends try to figure it out! How are those books staying on the wall? I have eight smaller hardcover books on it, and it holds them up just fine. I'm online to buy more!
