I have had the Jonathan Adler Santorini Cover for less than 3 months and it is already showing signs of wear and tear along the spine and along the edges of the case. Last May I purchased a leather case for a nook tablet (very high quality from B&N but it doesn't seem to be available anymore). It still looks like new. I don't understand why these cheaply made nook covers (which are not durable) have replaced the nicer covers that B&N used to carry?

I had this cover on my new Nook HD+ for less that 24 hours and it is already separating on the sides. It will be going back today!
As much as I like the cover and wanted it to be good quality, it just appears not to be.

This cover has been an absolute disappointment. It is coming apart all around the back part of the cover and is showing lots of wear on the edges and spine. When I complained to my Barnes and Noble store, I was told simply that perhaps I had gotten water on it. They made me feel like a liar and cheat for showing what a shoddy product I had bought. $40 is a lot to pay for something that wears out after only four months.

I've enjoyed this cover for my Nook HD+. It holds the Nook securely, the pocket is useful, and it has a place for a name card. I am able to prop up the Nook on its side by folding the front cover back to act as a brace. It's an attractive, useful cover and has held up well to much use.

I purchased my third Nook, an HD+, the most expensive one and all that is offered are the cheaply made covers. My Nook 1st ed. was yhe nest one and I bpught a beautiful leather cover for it which still looks new.  I bought the. Nook Simple touch again w/ leather cover (the cover was better than the Nook) Now the cover for the HD+ needs to be replaced and it was $40! I have never been so disappointed w/ a product. Good thing B&N is getting out of the market, what they put out after the 1st ED was not worth the money.
