The Jumbled Quote cover, inspired by our designer's love for type-font graphics, combines serious good looks with a playful spirit. The rich leather used for the exterior represents a serious commitment to quality, while the scrambled-type motif (derived from the phrase "A good book has no ending") adds a touch of whimsy. The interior of the case is lined with light gray sueded material, and the same material faces a handy vertical pocket that's accented with a "nook" logo in gold foil. An engineered bar-clip mechanism, colored to match the lining, provides secure mounting for your NOOK. Our covers have a power button activator built into the construction, so you can activate your device without removing the cover. To power your device on or off, simply push in the area of the "n" logo that is indicated on the removable paper band.

I love this cover. (It replaces a synthetic leather quote cover, which I also love. Just time for a change.) The feel of the leather is luxurious and and the grey and silver combo is elegant. The "jumbled text" makes an interesting graphic over the quote (A good book has no ending) which is still quite readable. I do wish that the inside pocket had the two extra card pockets. Still, it's a keeper!

    Love It!

I had been comparing the covers for the Nook Simple Touch and couldn't decide what to get. This cover is awesome, it is sleek, and grown up, but not plain in design. The cover is light and durable with no noticeable difference when I am reading.

The device is tiny. The case is a little big. The space between the spine and device is larger than you really need to make the cover work. My wife has an off brand case that fits perfectly and my "nook" brand seems kind of... big.. In comparison. Look between the spine and device and you will clearly understand what I mean. It just seems like they focused more on the plastic securing device than the actual case dimensions. I should also note it isn't THAT bad but when you know what you could have it does bug you a little.

I love this cover and I've had it for about 2 years now, since I switched from the first-gen nook. I tend to not be so careful with my things as I should be, and its leather outer/suede inner has held, even to the dirt and grime of the NYC subways. The case has withstood numerous drops, scrapes, and mishandling and really only the corners are starting to look worn. Most importantly, my nook is safe. The leather is pretty thick, and very shock-absorbent, almost making that extra-cost insurance moot. My only gripe is that there is only one long vertical pocket. My old cover (by Kate Spade) had a strip of credit card slots, perfect for my MetroCard(s), train commuter pass, B&N membership card, and other things I'd like to keep with my nook. So, designers, I hope you're reading the comments - more pockets!!
