Very well made ... comfortable to use.

I love the softness and feel of this cover. It totally protects my Nook by keeping it securely snapped in place, and covered when not being read. The cover wipes clean easily with discoloration.

The power cord attaches without having to remove the Nook from it's case. The cover can be folded to the back and secured by the magnetic catch for easy reading.

I've had it over a month already, and it's just like brand new.

Nice Cover!

I really like this color better than most of the other ones. It feels great in hand, and it doesn't have any metal flaps that can hit the screen. It is also magnetic even when it folds back on itself, so this makes for easy reading. Highly recommended!

Very Highly Recommended!

I own this cover and chose it (1) for the color but, most importantly, (2) for the magnetic closure. I wanted a cover that would stay closed when I wasn't reading and I wanted some type of closure that would not hurt my hands and fingers when I was opening or closing it. Rubber bands are very painful for my fingers and hands. So I chose this and have been absolutely, completely satisfied ever since. The leather is wonderful - very soft and feels wonderful when I'm carrying it around; but it's also rugged and wipes easily with just a dry cloth. For the price, it's a great deal - can't be beat.

Only problem is magnet falls out

I purchased this cover for my Nook Color in March 2011. The Nook is used everyday by both me and my husband. The color, feel and utility of the cover is great. The only complaint we have is the tab that holds the magnet has come unglued and the magnet falls out. We have tried numerous times to Superglue the tab to hold the magnet only to have it fall apart in a few weeks.

OK... But...

I received my Nook and cover for Christmas in 2010. The cover has worked well in the 8 months that I have used it. However, for the cost of this device it has not held-up very well. I try and be as careful with it as I can, as I take it EVERYWHERE I go. The corners especially and even the side, top and bottom edges are starting to come apart making it look kind of shabby. I would spend more for a cover than this one costs but I would have to know that it was going to last more than a couple of years. I am hesitant to purchase any of the covers now available for that very reason. I will probably attempt to make repairs on this one or have my leather seamstress make a cover that will last.

A great bookcover

The clerk suggested this cover for me when I purchased my Nook Color, and I am very pleased with it. I especially like the way the cover can fold over and is held by the clasp when I am reading. I also like the elegant black color, and it has a good, leather feel to it.

I have had the nook color since 11/13/11 and I bought the cover

I have had the nook color since 11/13/11 and I bought the cover the same day. I loved this cover until the magnet fell out last week. Now it looks really bad. This cover did not even last 1 year.

I LOVED this cover. I got it in Jan, in May, the magnet came out

I LOVED this cover. I got it in Jan, in May, the magnet came out of the snap and it no longer stays closed. :( I bought it for the magnetic snap and the feel. It feels like I am holding a book. I am going to have to wait to get another one, but I am really sad this one didn't hold up (local B & N told me my usage is abnormally high). So all in all I Love the cover but the seal on the magnet is not good when the seam comes open, so it no longer closes.

AWESOME, BUT PEFER WALNUT COLOR

Please see my review of the same cover in walnut, but also please note - BE VERY CAREFUL to not place in purse or let it get dented or scratched by ANYTHING - keys, wallet, etc. It really will show and retain the marks. But I DO LOVE this style best!!!

Holds up well!

I have had this cover for one year and it has held up great! I do not travel much with it, but I use it everyday and so does my husband. The cover spends a lot of time open and it is still looking good! I have two toddlers as well who like to hold the Nook and play a bubble popping app. and there are no scratches to be seen on the cover! I really like the magnetic clasp and the fact that there is no metal that might scratch the device. Great buy!

I've had since I first got my NOOK, and it's perfect. NOOK snaps right in, I can charge without having to remove NOOK from case. I like that front cover can be folded to back with the tab.

Only thing-I wish it was available in something other than leather; maybe nylon or neoprene.

I recevied this as a gift, and I have to admit, at first I didn't like it. I thought it was too masculine because I am a girly~girl. However, the more I used it, the more I fell in love with it. Its clean and secures my nook very well. I love love love it!!! Excellent choice.

I thought this felt better in hand than the genuine leather cover, and liked that the magnetic clasp did not have metal on the exterior to mar anything, including the cover itself. The "night" color is perfect for someone who normally loves black, and the interior matches the nook tablet perfectly. I was kind of wishing this had a little pocket of a piece of paper or two, but then decided I probably wouldn't use it anyway. I bought this at my local B & N store- wanted to see/feel all of the covers in person, and think this cover was the best decision.

Just bought this cover. I love the feel of it, but what exactly is "Italian Synthetic Leather". Is it similar to "Rich Corinthian " Naugahyde ? How many poor defenseless synthetic cows did it take to make this.
