Luxurious Italian synthetic leather combined with sleek styling creates this simple yet highly functional cover. The interior is fully lined with charcoal sueded material, and the bar-clip holder allows you to secure and remove your NOOK with ease. The clever tab closure, silk-screened with an elegant "n" logo, secures with the aid of a hidden magnet and also attaches to the back cover while you're reading. Completing this stylish presentation is a small leather tack label on the inside of the cover, with "nook" displayed in embossed white printing on an ink background. An embossed "n" logo on the back cover completes a package combining clean lines with serious charisma. Our covers have a power button activator built into the construction, so you can activate your device without removing the cover. To power your device on or off, simply push the "n" logo on the back of the cover.

I cannot find one thing bad about this cover.
it protects my nook while closed and when you open it you can flap the cover to the back and secure it with the magnetic holder and you do not have to be worried about it no more.
May even buy another color just for the fun of it :-)

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.I have this cover for the NookColor and it is just wonderful, full functionality and beautiful and holds the NC firmly in place. I just got this cover for my Nook Touch today and was completely and utterly disappointed. Same great looks, same great functionality but the NT is clipped on the left side only and the right side flops loosely when the cover is open. I have NO CONFIDENCE that the NT won't just fall out some time. I plan on checking if other covers are this 'floppy' and if not will return this one which is sad because I love the looks, functionality and feel of this one.

I was looking for a no-nonsense cover that would protect my Nook while not being obtrusive to one handed reading, and this fits the bill nicely. Understated yet attractive, I really like the magnetic latch, which also latches securely when you fold the cover back. This is designed well giving good protection while remaining comfortable for holding while reading. If you want a pure Nook cover, without pockets/pads/etc., this is a good choice.

A traditionally sophisticated look with a nice soft feel. Clip tap allows it to stay safely closed or latches to back to hold it open while reading. I checked them all out at the store and this was definitely my favorite.

I love this cover, the simple design, the smooth feel of the faux leather, the magnetic closure. The only thing I would add to it is a place to insert identification/contact info in case your Nook gets lost. (Happened to me; luckily I found it at the doctor's office, but they had no way of knowing who it belonged to in order to contact me, so I'm lucky I remembered where I left it.)

I was looking at some of the cheaper Nook covers, but decided to get this one because it has a magnetic clasp. When the Nook is in my bag, I don't want the cover to flop open and get the screen scratched. So far, I love this cover (and the Nook too). You can fold the cover back and the clasp makes it stay put. I'm glad I got this one and not one without a closure.

I just received this cover in the mail today. I have had the Nook for a few months now, and got used to using it without a cover. This cover wasn't a problem at all to get used to. I was worried about getting it, since it looked rather bulky in the photos online. It isn't bulky at all, and the Nook stays in place just fine. This cover comes highly recommended.

I like the fact that it isn't made of leather, but feels pretty close to the real deal. It has the nice look and soft feel of leather as well. What I really don't like--and this is because my ST took a tumble out of it onto the blacktop--is that it only clips to one side of the Nook. I don't understand this, because the ST has holes on both sides of it that would allow it to be clipped and held in both locations. Why the designer only went with one clip to hold the ST in place is anyone's guess. I'd give it a perfect rating if it had two clips. Other than that I'm loving my ST. I take it with me just about everywhere I go. I never thought I'd get this excited about using an e-reader. Gee, what did/do I know, eh?

I wanted a means to secure the cover closed, as well as secure the front flap when I folded it back to read. This cover delivers on both requirements. The magnet clasp grips securely. I like the feel of the leather-like material as well; it is easy to grip, smooth, and doesn't slip if I prop it on my leg while reading. Unlike the reviews I read for some of the other covers, this one has no offensive smell. I recommend it.

I like the cover very much. However, I would appreciate a pocket inside the front cover to hold notes on books I want to check on or buy. Otherwise a great protective cover for my Nook.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. This was not my first choice in covers when I went to the store however they were out of the 3 I liked more then this one, I have had it for about 2 weeks now and am pleasantly surprised by it. one of the best features about the cover is that there are three magnets in the cover one is on the back one on the front and one on the little latch one of the biggest issues that I had with my nook 1 industriell cover was that the fount cover flipped around when I was reading in bed the magnets hold this one firmly in place when its folded behind and latched with the magnets. The cover is a somewhat glossy synthetic leather it does show fingerprints more then I would like, the corners are not rounded enough got my taste and with only one side being clipped into place it has a little bit of give when using the buttons (the right side lifts up about 1/4th of an inch when you press on the left side) but overall I am very happy with the cover

I've had this cover for 4 to 5 months now and I have had no mishaps. The cover protects the nook and even on the 2 occasions that I dropped it on the bus while open and reading, the nook did not come loose or pop out of the clips. Also, the cover is just big enough to carry a small yellow legal pad and still clip closed so I can take notes on the pad and carry the pad and nook as one device.
However, the cover is not overly resilient and is already showing lots of wear and tear. It's made of a faux leather that is feels nice but wrinkles easily. Frequent use produces sharp wrinkles in the spine and the clip. It kinda looks like bark on a tree now. The clip is already starting to crack at the edges where it bends. Also, the cover itself is not overly sturdy. It has gradually conformed to the contour of the nook so it's kinda rounded at the edges. Furthermore, there is so much extra space at the spine that the spine can be easily crushed in a bookbag. Lastly, the corners and edges are already worn down to the fabric on which the faux leather plastic is afixed.
I don't anticipate keeping this cover for more than a year if I keep it that long.

This is exactly what I was hoping for in a cover. It is sturdy and thick enough that I feel my nook is well protected, yet light weight and not bulky at all. I am very happy that I decided to spend a little extra for the magnetic clasp.

I bought my Nook Simple which was easy compared to buying a case! Spent considerably longer looking over the cases...I wanted one that was easy to hold, held the Nook securely and would be secure in a bag. This one fit the bill because of the magnetic tab. You can fold the cover back over on itself and secure it with the tab. While I think that 3 or 4 tabs inside would have been nice to hold the Nook down, I have not had any problems with just the two of them. It seems to be VERY secure and I doubt that it will pop out. I really like the feel of the case. Smooth and soft, not slick, and easy to clean. The inside has almost a suede feel to it. I bought the bright blue (beautiful!) for myself and the Ink for my son...Love both of them! Truly, the best part is the magnetic tab closure!

Love everything about this cover. This was a gift, I would have preferred the cover in the blue color, but other than that, this is great. Easy to hold, easy to use, holds the NOOK securely, can easily charge while in cover, PROTECTS. Love that the back fastens behind with the magnets. No negatives to say.

I have had this cover now for 2 months and can find nothing wrong with it. It is comfortable to hold, and feels great, like holding the nook, not slippery, but soft and suede feeling. Easy to plug nook in when downloading from apps.

Fold the front backwards and the magnetic clip holds it so you can read just holding with one hand. With my previous Nook lst edition I had a stiff cover that you had to use both hands to hold. While I liked that cover, I like this one better. It says it is synthetic leather, but it has a very classy finish.

This is an awesome cover. The flap can the flipped over while reading
and stays put with a magnet on the back that the little clasp also
attaches to. Its smooth and looks fantastic. I love this case!
