    Great Cover

The material this cover is constructed from reminds me of a hard cover book with the dust jacket removed. Not the smooth ones, but the rougher, woven ones. LOVE the band. It keeps it feeling snug and compact. Feels very nice in the hand. This is the first cover I've had that wasn't leather for any of my nooks, and I'm happy with how light-weight it is. Most importantly, the inside of the cover does not make contact with the screen. I've had no issues with page turning and I don't manually put the nook to sleep before closing the cover anymore.

It would get 5 stars, but it does seem to pick up dirt and dust really easily, and is difficult to clean off. I don't mind it that much. I think it adds a bit of character once it gets a little beat up, like a library book. But I can see other's having a problem with this. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase!

    Looks like a book ;)

I don't like leather at all, so I went for this cover.
Unpacking it I was surprised to find that it not only looked just like an old hardcover book, but also felt like one. The canvas is sturdy but it is prone to picking up dust... not that I mind, I like the "rough" appearance of worn books ;)
It is pleasant to hold in hand and allows a firm grip, it doesn't add any significant weight to the reader and it just looks great. It's a good place on which to secure your reading light, too. The soft interior does not touch the screen or force itself on the buttons, so there is no problem at all with unwanted page turning.

I really like it, you should give it a try ;)

    Floppy

This cover for the Simple Touch is loose. The nook snaps into place securely, but once you open the cover, the back does not fold over tightly. Not a "comfortable" cover to use.

    Great basic cover

If just holding a cover-less Nook is a little weird when you're used to the real book experience (as it was for me), this is the solution. Good, sturdy cover similar to a compact hardcover book (minus jacket). The cover is a little wider than your standard print book cover, so I prefer folding the front cover back against the back cover and reading that way. The spine of the Madeleine cover seems to hold up well for this.
