Horse & Rider is great because it focuses on Western rather than English riding and it also includes training articles by Clinton Anderson. I've had a subscription for a number of years and will continue to subscribe for many more.

I was a novice rider when I started to subscribe to Horse and Rider. Many of the questions that I have had were answered in the magazine and it was easier to understand than some of the large dollar books that are out there. The best part of the magazine is that you learn form others experiences and situations. I believe that this is the best source of information for the western rider.
