To read Parents, update to 1.3

This title requires NOOK Color and must have software version 1.3. Updating is easy and only takes a few minutes. Please see the 'Note' section on the Parents magazine page for instructions on how to install version 1.3.

Surprise - you WILL learn something!

As a mother of two children, ages 7 and 4, I have read dozens of different parenting magazines (as I am sure most parents have). I received a free copy of this in the mail and was surprised that I actually learned something about my children. I love that it covers a wide age range of children (not the typical 0-6) and addressed a specific issue for each age group that was typical for their stage of development. For example, it addressed how to deal with a 4 year old's need to assert their authority:) and further in, how to help a 7 year old overcome feelings of "I can't do it - it's too hard". Other pluses were some easy, healthy, kid friendly recipes and a great article on family vacations that were un-missable! Definitely worth a read.
