My husband started getting this magazine a year ago and now we both fight over who's going to read it first! Great ideas for home improvement with easy to understand articles and tons of photos. I love seeing all the projects we can do together and even he loves the ones that that get added to his "honey-do" list. Very simple ideas that make a big difference around the house, yard, and garage and best of all, most are easy, cheap, and don't need alot of special tools!

Even though their website (and iPad version) has many of the how-to articles, the magazine itself is packed with little extras such as a tool round-up, and tips from other home improvers that are worth publishing. I read it from cover to cover almost the day it arrives. I'm female but the handy one around the house. While I don't have some of the serious tools such as a table saw, the articles are easy to follow and highly reliable. Lots of pictures. It's a bit like having my Dad around to ask for help, and just as hokey-but-honest. ;-) Not a lot of flash and sex appeal, but when I'm planing a front door, I want it to WORK.
