Bought on-line as a gift. Sorry to say, but the material looks cheap & unattractive. Really just awful. Returned it to local B & N store & exchanged it for a Dessin cover.

Very pretty but not recommended for much handling. Anytime you have it in your hands, it gets ugly marks in the material that are permenant. Fingernail marks, sit it on top of anything, the mark is there. Makes you not want to use it in fear of ruining it. While charging mine, I did not realize part of the cord was underneath one of the corners, now it has a permenant cord mark imbedded in it. Only had for less than one week and have tons of scuffs on it after being very careful.

I love it! The marks are minimal and do not take away from how pretty and shiny it is. I've nad several nook covers and up to now this one is my favortae. the inside velvet does not get dirty. My first impression was tyhat it migh but it has not. I've left it on my bed around my dogs and it has not been destroyed or maeked. Stays blingy!
