External memory not good on any nook product!!
I purchased a 4 gb SDHC for extra memory purposes. When I called customer service and asked for help to format--I was told that to store anything on the SD card, I would have to remove the card from the back of the nook--do it from the computer, then reinstall the memory card in my Nook. Did I get a person than knew less than I did--or what? That just does not seem to be the way it should be, as you are having to remove the back cover each time you load anything onto that part of your memory. Something does not seem right here, this can not be the way that Nook designed this!! I think I already want a Kindle for Christmas!! I'm just happy I did not waste my money on any bigger SDHC card! I've had my Nook for 3 months and have delt with customer service 6 times already, and always ended my conversation feeling very stupid, or wishing I had purchased a different electronic book. I've had to re-register it so many times to get my purchased content to show up that it has really become annoying. I did a factory reset at one time with no satisfaction so I will not be reccomending it to my friends.

Overview
The microSDHC uses the latest advancements in flash memory technology to deliver the smallest memory card in the world. Measuring about one-fourth the size of a standard SD card, the microSDHC card provides high-performance and ample storage for use of media rich files such as music, videos, photographs, as well as more digital book space on your nook.
