The Silicone Frame is an excellent way to protect your NOOK Color or Nook Tablet while keeping the screen viewable at all times. Seriously, I originally got this to use when I was making a recipe on the Epi App. I prop it on a cookbook holder and click on the app, and go to my recipe. For some wonderful reason, neither the NOOKcolor nor the Nook Tablet turns off when you've got that app on.
It's easy to follow the recipe and you don't have to worry about getting the cover dirty. You can just wipe it clean. I love that I'm not adding to my shelf of spotted paper cookbooks with remnants off meals past.
However, I do not use this as an everyday cover. I'd be afraid of scratching the screen. Also, you can't get a secure grip on it if you're toting it around. For reading and carrying, I have the Christopher Wren cover with the 3 point grips, which I find hold both the Tablet and the Color very securely. This cover is fine with the Aalto cover and also the black shoulder bag for the Tablet or Color. Or, like me, you can use it as a cooking aid.

This case is extremely protective and stylish at the same time. Unfortunately fibers and hairs easily stick to this thing. Otherwise, great!

This skin is great for the Nook Color, but do not buy it if you have the Tablet. The skin has dyed the light gray bezel of the Tablet a dirty brown blotchy color. It cannot be removed. My brand new Nook Tablet looks like I found it in a dumpster. I own a Nook Color with the same skin on it and it is fine, but remember the Nook Color is dark charcoal gray. My Tablet is ruined from this piece of junk!!!

testpointjerry said that this case dyes the rim of the nook tablet brown. Does anyone else have this problem? Because I am considering buying this product for my nook tablet, but I don't want to ruin my nook. Any answers?

This is a great case I was looking everywhere for a case like this and in this color. The case makes your nook feel and seem more like an actual tablet which is what I love the most. It also makes it easier to use the touch screen keyboard to type and the case isn't thin it's a very good material and will protect your tablet.

Beautiful color and protects my Nook Tablet. No matter what the device, I am always looking for something that helps prevent it from slipping from my hands and give it some protection if it does. I haven't dropped my Nook (thankfully), but if I do I hope the silicone will give it a little cushion. When I'm done using it I slip it into a neoprene bag with handles that came with a portable DVD player many years ago. It has pockets to hold the charging cable. The frame itself has cut-outs for the charging plug, speaker, and headphone. It has depressions for the power and volume. You have to remove the cover to access the micro-sd card, but that is not an issue for me. I have no need to frequently access the card.

This is a must have! I read the customer reviews prior to choosing this and not only does it it protect my nook tablet, it makes holding it much easier. The Cobalt Blue is such a rich and vivid color. I love it!
