Soho Cover in Anvil

Fantastic and Trustworthy

The other reviewer must just live a dirty lifestyle because I have had mine for three weeks and not a single mark has shown up yet with daily use. I usually wait about three months before I write a review for things like this, but today, I woke up with it on my chest after having fallen asleep last night, and not realizing this, I rolled over and it fell off my bunk at a distance of 7 feet or so. It hit the ground dead on and open. My nook color gently popped out and stuck the landing like a gold medal Olympian. After a near heart-attack, I examined both my nook and the case. Neither were hurt in any visible manner. No dents, no scratches, nothing. If you want a case you can truly trust to protect your $250 piece of equipment, then this is by far one of the better ones.

Love This!

My Nook fits into 3 slots and is held tightly in the cover. What's great about this cover, is both sides fold back evenly, so it's great to read that way--almost like you're holding a book. It also has plenty of slots to hold papers and receipts. Also has a slots in front for I.D. or gift cards.

I found using the Nook without the cover to be cumbersome, and awkward.
I highly recommend getting this cover--worth the price!

Love This Cover! No problems with Dirt either.

I have had this case on my Nook Color for about two weeks and I am not necessarily kind to the case. I work in a repair shop environment and several times have set the case down while the case was folded open and have had no problems with marks on the case. I had a difficult time deciding between this case and the Da Vinci and am glad that I chose this case. It is sleek and not heavy. It is very sturdy and I love the magnetic closure on the case.

love it!

I looked at every cover in the store before deciding on this one. Real leather. Check. No straps or buckles that could wear out or tear-off. Check. Simple design, not ostentatious (just a simple nook n in the bottom corner). Check. Solid construction but not too bulky. Check. And then all the "bonuses" cinched my decision -- a display spot for my business card, pockets for various size notes if I happen to go analog or someone hands me a note / flyer (most items I enter into my Droid, sadly I have a notice from a police officer on where to pick up an accident report now), one flap could hold a small notepad even. Plus, the cover just sits right in my hand. Initially thought I would only use this for safe passage as I traveled from place to place (got a prescription for malaria prophylaxis pills in one of the pockets, headed to Ghana this summer), but I've decided to keep the nook color in this cover. Just feels right. Great cover!

LOVE IT

I love this cover - however, I am glad I read about the dirt - because it made me prepared to deal with it. I have noticed mine has smudge prints as well...have had mine 6 months & the smudge is there...I work for a doctor, I wash my hands more times in a day than the average person - but fingers are oily and pick up dirt, irregardless of how clean one thinks they are....just means you have to wipe it down - would be different if the inside cover were not white - then nobody would be aware of it.
This cover makes the Nook Color feel like a 'real' book. I like that I can fold the cover back and read (something I would NEVER do with a paper book) but with this leather cover, it has a good feel to it.
Friends with Kindle comment how large my NC is with the cover, but I dont mind, as I said, I like the feel of it & I know it is well protected.
I would buy this cover again if I should ever completely destroy the interior from the periodic cleaning of my finger smudges.

Great cover, BUT.....

I bought this cover online after seeing it on display in the store. I loved it immediately, as it felt great in my hands with the flaps folded back, and I wanted something super sturdy to protect my new NC. Loved it initially, but I noticed as a few days went on, the front flap of leather was "bubbling", which just continued to get worse. I brought it back to my local BN to exchange it, and found that the other Soho covers in Anvil had the same problem-in addition, the leather felt much thinner than the Soho covers in other colors. So I ended up with a Soho cover in Light Coffee, as the leather seemed thicker and better quality, and I have had no trouble with it at all. It's just unfortunate, as I really liked the Anvil color.

Awesome case out there!

I just love this case. I bought it the day I bought my nook color, I just upgrade to the nook tablet the case fits that perfect also. My husband & I own a service garage work with alotbof oil and chemicals all day I can honestly say I have had NO problem with any dirt or smudges on the case. I highly recommend this great case. Best case for the nook color or tablet.

I love it

I love this case! The inside did get a little dirty but im far from easy on a case i work with mechanics and so of course by setting it open on the counter up there it was bound to get dirty but with some suade cleaner it came clean and i sprayed it with some kiwi protect all and so far every thing else just wipes right off. Ive only had my case about a month but so far i couldnt be happier

Do not recommend, to pricey for quality.

Unhappy with this product, the clip loosened at 6 months and my Nook fell out of it and cracked the screen, Clip no longer holds, and leather is very bubbled front and back.

Fantastic

i really love this case i got it when i got my nook and it is great i love the color and the style, don't listen to other comments it dose not mark up ive had mine for about 8 months and its still in wonderful shape as i would expect it to be

FABULOUS!!! DESIGN ON A DIME!

DEF. AN AWESOME COVER WORTH EVERY PENNY! I'VE HAD MY NOOKCOLOR SINCE DAY 1 OF IT BEING RELEASED. ITS GOES EVERYWHERE WITH ME AND I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT! RECOMMEND IT FOR SURE!! THE PERSON THAT RATED IT WITH ONE STAR MUST LIVE IN A PIG PEN OR NOT WASH THERE HANDS OR BE VERY OILY IN GENERAL BECAUSE I HAVE HAD NO TROUBLE WITH THE INTERIOR OF THIS COVER!! TWO CLEAN THUMBS UP!!!

Quality Case!

I've had mine for 2 weeks and no scuffs or marks. I carry it everywhere I go and wanted a sturdy case; I found that in this Soho. It is real quality leather on the outside, it is one of the most expensive but I always say you get what you pay for. The person that rated this with 1 star I say, wash your hands before you use your nook, the inside is faux suede not leather, its gonna get dirty if you mark in it..

Caution: poor design, marks up easily, avoid this case!

Unless you wear pristine white gloves when you operate your Nook, this case should be avoided at all costs. The interior 'leather' in this case is a light shade of beige that shows every possible mark and scuff as soon as you touch it. This poor design decision renders an otherwise solidly constructed case worthless (unless you don't care about a dirty cover, then, in that case, have at it)!

I've had mine now for eight months and I am ready for a new one.

I've had mine now for eight months and I am ready for a new one. Because
the interior is a light color and I am constantly reading, it shows the
scuff marks and looks dirty. Also, the seems on the fold leave thread
marks on the screen of my Tablet that I am constantly having to wipe
away. Thankfully I have the anti-glare screen protector, but still it's
annoying to see the thread marks, which is one of the reasons I always
have it open, but then the interior gets dirty and overall, I just want
a new cover now... :/

This case if perfect please soho dont stop making it! I do not want to put my nook tablet down i have a renewed hunger for reading non like before! Now i go to bed reading and wake up reading , this case is nothing short of wonderful! It looks black in certain light but it is actually brown simply beautiful!

Very handy to use. Plenty of space to customize by adding a note

Very handy to use. Plenty of space to customize by adding a notebook slipped into the left cover slot, and plenty of room for stylus. That it can be reverse folded to slim down when reading is an added plus. Wish I could find a pen with the wider stylus style clip to add too!

Fantastic!! I love the look and feel of this cover. It protects my Nook and provides pockets for notes, receipts, envelopes, etc. I like that the flaps fold back, and the magnets are a plus! Oh, and no dirt here either.
