Excellent game for family night. I have been considering buying

Excellent game for family night. I have been considering buying this game for a while. When I finally bought the game this holiday season, I was worried that this game would be too complicated and my wife may not like it. After putting our 2 very active kids to bed, she dont usually have much patience or the willing to learn or think too much. It took us about 60 mins to learn and play the 1st game. Even this game was quite interesting and fun.

However, after playing the 1st couple of games, my entire family is hooked on to this game now.

    A couple of things:
--> Read the rules thoroughly and for the 1st couple of games keep them handy.
--> We found a how to play video on youtube, which was very very useful.
--> play the 1st couple of games with open cards or with everybody showing their cards as your learn various strategies. When we started, all of the 5 players were new. This helped us learn together and have fun at the same time. After 2 such games, we were able to play following all the rules and had a blast.
--> Play a couple of rounds to get the hang of the game.
--> very surprised that the entire game takes 20-30 mins once you get a hang of it.

Highly recommend it for everybody. Even for people who dont know what they are getting into. This is a fun game which is relatively easy to learn and is fun to play for a long long time afterwards.

Since we have started playing this game 2 days ago, we have played it about 20 times now and are still loving it. We are already planning our next family broad game night!

    This game is a blast

The unique mechanic of taking a card and then passing your hand is very fun and tricky. Trying to decide what to take, and what you can hope will come back around or what you can't let your neighbor have is addictive.
There are many strategies to use to win, and sometimes you'll switch strategies mid-game. You also never really know who is going to win till you add up the points at the end. I'll think I've got the game in the bag, then another city's scientific points will slaughter me.
We've had this game for about 3 weeks and have played it probably 8 times.
