My five year old daughter thinks this doll is charming. You can seperate and braid her yarn hair into different styles, she is holding up well under normal play conditions and she is just the right size for my daughter to cradle in her arms! I like that the doll is hand made with natural cotton materials. This is a doll your child will love. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. To celebrate Earth Day, I bought my four-year-old, great niece a Petite Fairy Doll. The doll was almost exact to the picture on the Web and I was very pleased with my purchase. I wanted my great niece to own something that was natural, nontoxic, and reminiscent of my own childhood favorite--Raggedy Ann. When she opened the box, she seemed a bit nonplussed about the gift. In an age of technology and toys that move, beep, buzz, or require a computer screen to play with, the Fairy Doll seemed an anomaly. For the moment, I felt l had made the wrong choice. However, within ten or so minutes, she was clutching the doll to her chest, stroking its hair, and examining its wings. Before my time with my niece came to a close, she and the doll were best friends. Her mom told me that the two are now inseparable and Chloe, as she was named, is now her favorite toy. Needless to say, I felt wonderful about choosing the Petite Fairy Doll as a gift, and saw it as a means of instilling in my great niece the importance and joy of owning natural, simple things. And since the doll is natural, it has slight imperfections in the cloth and some of the stitching. But as humans, we all have imperfections, making "Chloe" the perfect choice. Was this review helpful?
