The AntHill’s unique “cross-cut" design features an oversized tunneling chamber for easy “underground" observation, an “aboveground" view to observe your ants’ foraging behavior, and a wide base that makes tipping over virtually impossible.

Features a realistic double-sided viewing area, wide base for super stability, escape-proof locking lid, special AntHill fill sand, fun ant activities and complete instructions.

NOTE: Ant certificate must be returned to receive your live ants. Insect Lore does not stock live ants at our facility. Extra $4.00 required for ant shipping.

    Had one of these when I was little. :)

    My mom bought me a cheap version of this when I was small. The fun part was catching your own ants(remember kids like that sort of thing). If your kid is going to catch there own ants make sure to tell them not to get ants from different ant hill (they are rivals and will fight). This is something I would buy for a kid who's always curious as to how things work, as in with animals and how they live. I'm not sure about the product itself because I never had this exact one, but the products purpose I still find really intriguing.
