I think a one star rating for this product is a bit harsh. This

I think a one star rating for this product is a bit harsh. This product is not going to turn you into a chess master but it is a great and fun way to get back into playing if it's been awhile. It's also great if you don't have the time to spend on a real chess match, but still want to enjoy the challenge of it. To address some of the negative comments.... So far from what I can tell this game is more about moving the pieces and solving the problem of 'how do I move the pieces so that only one is remaining' - if there was a check rule for the king solving the challenges would not be possible, a no check rule is not a problem for me. So far all the movement rule have been followed, I will saw that there were a couple of times I thought the only way to solve a problem was to break a movement rule, but after thinking about it I was able to find the correct solution without violating any movement rules. To be fair, if you are a regular chess player you might not like this game, but for the casual player and puzzle solver this is great!

There is no check rule for the king.  The movement rules are not

There is no check rule for the king.  The movement rules are not followed, and in a solution given the king actually jumps two spaces.  This game is considered lame by my 15 yr old son and 47 year old husband.  They may be at a disadvantage because they know the rules of chess.
