My six year old son purchased this toy with his own money. He is very happy with it. He tells me it is "very awesome" and "does cool stuff". He also tells me that the magnet is very strong. My son is very stingy with his money and for him to purchase something is a major deal. He tells me that this toy is worth the money and he would buy one again. He told me to write that if you have a Thomas wooden train set or any other compatable wooden train set, this train will work very well at moving the "broken down" engines. He plays with this toy frequently and it holds up well to the use.
