Can't wait to play this with our grandson!

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our grandson, who is between 4 and 5 years old.

He's really interested in machines and robots, and just beginning to grasp the concept of a game (such as taking turns). We love the sturdy pieces and bright colors of this game. We also like the layers of education involved in playing it. It provides a puzzle for each player to complete. But it also cultivates the concept of grouping, since every puzzle piece is unique. Our grandson will learn that more than one piece fits in the "head" group or the "body" group, for example.

What fun! I hope that I can convince Grandpa to WAIT to play it until our little guy opens this in a few weeks!

not what I thought it was

First I need to say I never opened the package. My 6 yr nephew LOVES robots & I thought he would love this game. But when I took the lid off, it was all paper/cardboard pieces, which I knew would completely disappoint him. I thought (from the picture on the box) that it would at least be plastic).
