My kids love it, both boy and girl. They use it as the manufacturer intended it and also as a minature make- believe castle. Plus, it looks nice as a decoration, too.

HE GOT THE HANG OF IT ON HIS OWN ON THE STARTER ONES AND IT WAS AWESOME. O SOME OF THE LATER PUZZLES EVEN MY BROTHER AND I COULDNT FIGURE THEM OUT EASY AND WE ARE ADULTS SO I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS. ESPECIALLY FOR LIKE A TEACHER OF KIDS FROM LIKE K-3RD GRADE OR SOMETHING.

It looks deceptively simple, but the higher levels can challenge even an adult! The lower levels can be done by a 4 year old. It is beautifully crafted, handling the wooden pieces is a pleasure. And when you are done playing, you can display it on a shelf, it's that nice!

I bought this Castle Logix puzzle for my younger niece and another, larger version of this puzzle for my older niece so that they could have the same puzzle to play with. They both love it.
Just be careful that you know that this one only contains 7 different pieces, which is good for a young child. The other similar version of this product (Royal Rescue - not currently sold at B&N) contains more pieces and is more suitable for an older child.

Pay attention to what is actually in the box. This set comes in several sizes. Unfortunately, I looked at the picture but bought the most basic set, thinking it would build a much more complex structure. There are much better values out there.

I have a 6, 4, and 2 year old and they all couldn't keep their hands off this game for the first week. They all did different things with it of course. My 6 year old is really good at puzzle games, and made it through almost all of the cards without any problems, so i would like another more compicated version for him now. This is extremely sturdy and will last for years, so fun! Even my husband and I enjoyed it.
