The other players secretly select their own cards which match the description. The chosen cards are shuffled and revealed, then players vote on which was chosen by the active player. Each correct answer gives points to the guesser and the active player. Each incorrect answer gives points to the player who submitted the guessed card. However, if all of the guesses are correct -- or none of them are -- then the active player gets no points and all the other players get points. The game ends when the deck is empty. The greatest total wins the game.

    My 29 year old son gave me this for Mother's Day. He and his friends play it. I've played it with the family (boys ages 21, 25 and 29 and their dad) as well as sister and brother-in-law - great for ALL ages. The rules are brilliant and the pictures crazy fun and creative. Very quick to learn and play. I look forward to ordering expansion cars just to see the quirky pictures!

    Highly Recommended!

    This is a game which makes you think outside the box. I've never played a game solely based on one's creativity. Dixit is exactly that. And it's great for any age, because anyone can look at a picture and figure out what kind of story it tells to them.

    Try this game out, you'll love it!
