    Great book for toddlers!

My grandsons loved this book. The rhyming words and repetition make this book great for helping kids learn to read, without really teaching them!

My 2 year old Loves it- Highly Recommended

My two year old loves this book. He has us read it over and over everyday. He can even read it back to us by memory. Now when he is playing around he acts like he gets stuck and he will say "Mom go get the duck in the truck; I am stuck." This will be one of those keep sake books.

This book is GREAT even for younger readers!

I bought this book for my 20 month old son who loves trucks and cars! The illustrations are like nothing I have ever seen. It's as if you can actually feel the movement and the exhertion of Duck, Frog and Sheep pushing the truck. My son and I pretend to help push the truck too by pushing the page. It is so much fun when you exaggerate the story by making the funny sounds like 'Squish, Slurp, Squelch!' when Sheep has to make his way through the muck. This book is so entertaining and the pictures are so detailed that you can have entire conversations around the environment itself. For the finale, when everyone else falls into the muck, my son will slide off my lap onto the floor, and then puts his feet onto the page and pretends he is stuck in the muck too with Sheep, Frog and Goat. I loved this book so much I bought a copy for my son's daycare so that other children can enjoy this book as well. I highly recommend this book for an entertaining read!
