Overview

Feed the Kitty is as simple as a cat's life. Mice are on the menu, and as they move from place to place, it's anyone's guess who will end up hungry and who will get to have a full belly. Will you be caught catnapping or will you pounce into the lead? The answer is all in the roll of the dice!

In this fast moving game, try to keep your mice away from the kitty. Roll an arrow and pass one to the left. Roll a sleeping cat and you're lucky to squeak by. But roll a bowl and it's dinnertime for kitty! The last player left with mice wins.

For ages 4 and up.

    Favorite Family Game

This is a fast cat and mouse game. You don't want to get caught "catnapping" or you could lose. Run out of mice and if you're lucky, the player on your rightg will roll the dice and get and arow that means pass a mouse to the player on their left. Roll a picture of a kitty bowl and put a mouse in the bowl. Roll a picture of a mouse and take a mouse out of the bowl. Roll a sleeping cat picture and you don't do anything. Each player rolls 2 dice per turn, so there are several possiblilities. Here's one sample turn: If you roll one arrow and one mouse, give one mouse to the player on your left and take one mouse from the itty bowl. Kids learn as they play this game of turn-taking, counting, visual discrimination and just lots of wild fun. It's a delicious game of mice and dice. But, if you get pounced, the cat could wind up with all your mice for dinner! "Feed the Kitty" is "as simple as a cat's life." I like the extra note in the instructions that says "as any cat would tell you, you can't "owe" food". It's lots of fun. It's our favorite family game.

Excellent choice for a 4-year old.

I purchased this game in anticipation of our granddaughter's visit. It's always hard to know what will be age-appropriate for her because she learns so much between visits. This was perfect. She caught on right away and corrected us when we forgot the next move. Not only was it fun for her, but for grandpa and grandma as well. A great "first" family game.

Great Game for Kids With Short Attention Span

This is a great game for young children. It really has no strategy, but is a great game for children who have a difficult time losing. It makes it painless. Also, it does not allow an adult to facilitate children winning when they really are not winning!

    As Advertised

I ordered this for a 3 year old boy as a Christmas gift. It arrived quickly and in good condition. I didn't open the box to look at the pieces, but it appeared to be as advertised. I'm sure he'll have fun with this game.

    Great for preschoolers

Simple pieces, easy to use and fun for preschoolers - probably best for four year olds; threes need help interpreting the dice clues...good deal overall!

    Feed the Kitty

I am a grandmother who bought this game to have when my grandchildren come to play. They loved the game -- it is simple, fun and fast and [wonder of wonders] held their attention!

This game is so much fun

My son has been having this game for a few years now..and still loves it. Fun for all. It goes quickly, and allows for more time to play. Shows how to share, add and subtract from taking a mouse or feeding the kitty, loll. I brought this game during the evacuation. My boss loved the game, she thought it was fun and wants one for her grandsons. It shows them sharing, counting skills, and leaves room for lots of imagination and laughter. Highly recommend this game. Also, go away monster is another fun fast favorite.
