I teach third grade. In their free time students can shake the Find It to look for its treasures. We still have not found the penny. I think it would make a fun gift for that person who has everything. Neat gift.

This "Find It" toy is a great toy to put on the coffee table. People pick it up and start playing with it. They do not like to put it down because they just found another piece that they did not have already.

I bought this to entertain the kids in the car on our latest trip. However, I found myself addicted to it. On vacation, everyone was picking it up and trying to find the items, both kids and adults. We have found everything but the CANDY CANE!! Where is it?

Whether for a car trip, passing time waiting in an office or just some rainy day fun, this toy fills the time! It is reasonably priced and for all ages. We first saw these at our local dentist office and knew we needed one at home too! We also bought one for our friends making a cross country road trip with their five and eight year old children. You will find yourself playing with it as an adult too. Everyone who sees it can't resist picking it. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

I enjoy playing with it when I am not in the mood to read. Some of the articles are really difficult to find.

I was looking for a game that I could use in my work with children. This game is an easy game to play with a child of any age. You can design a way to play for any length of time and any skill level. It can help improve a child's concentration and patience too! There are no pieces to lose and it can be a very self contained, self play activity. Since there are no pieces to lose it can be used in the car, on vacation, at home or at a friends house. The only down side is that it does not come with enough pads.

I thoroughly enjoy this game. We use it in the car to entertain children. We create puzzles, such as find the letters spelling "dog" or "cat" to add to the challenge. I am older and enjoy searching for items, such as the elusive penny and candy cane.

I bought this game with car trips in mind for my 4 and 8 year olds and they love it! It held my 4 year old's attention for at least 30 minutes and then my 8 year old's for an hour. We have attempted now on at least 4 different occasions to specifically find the penny and the candy cane and, unfortunately, still have yet to. If your child's focus is on the completion of the list, then this might be a bit frustrating. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend this one for everyone's car activity bag!

this game is in our ped's office. so glad i found it. keeps kids busy in the car etc. good gift too. have had it for 2 months and still cant find 2 items. ;)

I ended up taking this game back because I was afraid a teen would find the items in the game insulting. If you have a younger child say 8 they might enjoy it. The main items you are searching are the alphabet. Instead I bought the Find It Zoo, which he loved.
