I bought this for my son for his 1st birthday three years ago.

I bought this for my son for his 1st birthday three years ago. He couldn't truly manipulate it on his own until he was about 15 months, but he loved the bright colors and played with it often. It's classic Melissa & Doug--very high quality and durable. Now his younger sister is playing with it at age 2. The thick knobs are perfect for chunky little hands to manipulate, and I love that it shows the shapes in a practical context instead of just in isolation.
