I Also Recommend:
I'll keep this relatively short because what more can be said about a product that combines the most successful board game invented with one of the most enduring and influential Rock Bands into one heckuva ride.
It was only a matter of time before the hugely successful and far reaching musical group would be found in different games aimed at the legions of fans that enjoyed the band until 1995 when Jerry Garcia died. There have been a few attempts prior to this, but this one works! Playing with Grateful Dead related figures, buying and selling Grateful Dead Albums and lots of laughs. Potentially collectible and hours of fun, the only drawback is the rigid structure of Monopoly the game. It is all too familiar. I gave it 5 stars because it is one of the most creative of the "opoly" games but if I could I would deduct 1/2 star for the lack of creativity in the game's layout.
Still, fun to play, with the characteristic "hours of playing" Monopoly games there are lots of laughs and memories here to be shared at a party or waiting in line to see the latest incarnation of the members of that mythical and magical band many of us had the opportunity to experience. That our memories are now on a Monopoly Board is actually a great irony given the free and fun atmosphere surrounding the Band, the 60's and the generation spawned by the Woodstock Nation.
Buy the game and play. You're in for a fun ride.

My kids got my brother, a very "dead"icated deadhead this for Christmas and he LOVED IT! All street names in the original game are replaced with album covers, and instead of the, "get out of jail card", the player gets to wear the "backstage pass" around their neck!
I highly recommend it if you want to bring a smile to any deadhead that hasn't been the same since Jerry died!

Even if you are not an old dead head, you can enjoy this game. It's the same game, but with a few twists. The instructions were easy to follow. And true to dead head laid back character, the game suggests starting with a time limit as an alternative to playing out the long game of monopoly. We set an hour time limit, but the hour flew by. Next time we will play longer.

Great gift for any Deadhead in your life. Looks like a lot of fun, & makes a nice collectible. However, be prepared for that collector to *refuse* to break the seal, so you never get to play the game. ;oD.
