The actual stone is not as it appears to be in the advertising pictures. In the pictures it appears to be a glass stone with "damage" from Harry dropping it. The "damage" appears, again in the item pictures, to be crushed or chipped areas of the stone. You can see this by looking at the larger version of the encased stone.
What actually comes is a small glass stone with grey paint smeared on it in various locations to simulate the "damage". It looks nothing like it does in the pictures.
I am unable to upload pictures here but have uploaded them to a-ma-zon under the exact same product name so you can see what the actual stone looks like in order to help you make a truly informed purchasing decision.

I was just so happy to get my stone. Sure it wasn't exactly how it looked like in the pictures, but how they detailed it was amazing. I really liked how it was cut and the damage on the stone. I don't know about you, but I would like to get another one of these.
