Harry Potter the Ollivanders Wand Box - Voldemort

I am a huge fan and have two little boys who love all things Harry Potter as well. I got this wand and Harry Potter's as Easter presents for my 5-year old and 8-year-old. The packaging is lovely: the inside consists of gauzy veils covering a velvet base encasing the wand; the box is plain black on the outside so my eldest son had no idea what it was. The wand seems to be an accurate reproduction of the Dark Lord's wand as described in the books. Very light weight plastic, which might disppoint a collector but is fine for me because my son can play with it rather than just own it. He was a little disappointed at first because the HP wand has a light up tip - thus only 4 stars - but loves it just the same. Would definitely recommend to HP fans of any age.

Though a little disappointed that this particular item is not a "true" replica of The Dark Lord's wand as pictured, it is a nice to have item as the series comes to an end.

If you are collecting HP items it's not a bad buy, but if you are a stickler for details then be cautious. Mine may have been the bad seed of the batch but the construction and many of the details make this worth saying you own a piece of movie history.
