    LOVE IT!

    In general, I love M & D toys since they're good quality, don't need batteries and are instructive yet fun at the same time. I really like how this old fashioned toy can keep my girl occupied for a good 30+ minutes at a time and improves her hand eye coordination. It also gives her a major sense of accomplishment when she has laced one entire animal. Some may think it's a "girl" toy since it's kind of like sewing but many little boys who have come to play at our house are just as fascinated with it. There's more than one pet to lace so it's good for sharing too! I originally bought this toy when I was searching for good toys to keep my toddler occupied during a 5 hour plane ride that didn't involve annoying songs, phrases or have her staring at a TV screen the entire time. This toy, the lacing beads and the magnetic dress up dolls all by M & D were purchased for this purpose and they served quite well!

    promotes hand-eye coordination

    I bought this for my 20-month-old daughter, and she loves it. The lacing promotes hand-eye coordination as she pokes the lace through a hole and tries to find where it came out on the other side. She also loves to switch up the lace colors on each animal.

    The only negative is that since the animals are made of cardboard, the punched holes fray a bit, causing a small dust pile. It's not enough to stop me from buying this again, though. It's definitely worth the price.
