I absolutely LOVE this item. I bought it for my son after visiting a friend who has it for her daughter. However, when I got it home, it was telling him the wrong letter. So I followed the directions and cleaned it and changed the batteries. Still wrong letters. So I returned it and got another. Guess what? Same problem. So I returned it and got another. Still the same problem. Because I was *determined* to have this toy, I bought and returned it 4 different times before I finally got one that works.

And so does my almost 3 year old. The great thing about it is that we keep it in the kitchen on the refrigerator so she can play while we cook. She has really learned her letters too!

Such a fun way to present the sounds of letters. Toddlers can put the magnetic letters in themselves and repeat the sounds. Very handy magnets stick to the fridge or any other metal surface.

This is the best Leapfrog learning toy I have purchased. The sound is very clear and tells kids the different ways a letter can sound. My 4 & 2-yr-old play with it as I am making meals. Even my 8-yr-old gets into it with them. My 4-yr-old has been in speech therapy for over a year and this 'toy' has enhanced his therapy by helping him to say the letter and number sounds effectively. We are very pleased.

When my child put some of the letters on the Frige Phonics Set, they say the wrong letter. My child learns better from her teacher. To me it's just a waste of money and it's not very reliable for kids.So I would give this device two stars.

I decided to get this for my son (22 months) after he enjoyed playing with it at a friend's house. From the moment I put it up, he was obsessed with it. He now knows all his letters and the sounds that most of them make.

Highly interactive and educational learning toy placed where little ones tend to congregate anyway. Great for curious minds with it's visual and sound appeal.

A very fun way for kids to learn the ABC. Within a week my son was spelling his name.. After I bought Fridge Phonics Lowercase Letters Expansion Pack he was beginning to comprehend the difference of upper and lowercase! This pack includes great play value!

My daughter immediately loved Fridge Phonics. She knew some letters already, but Fridge Phonics really helped her grasp the entire alphabet and the sounds each letter makes. We'll play with it together for 45 minutes at a time, as she makes sure she hears each letter and the sound it makes. Great teaching tool!
