For ages 4 and up.
This I did way back in elementary (currently in college)! I have always loved animals so this was really fun for me. Unfortunately I did it in school so we only got one larvae per student. We each fed and took care of our larvae until it hatched. Then our class went outside and released all the butterflies, that's the part you will be waiting for impatiently and will never forget. It is a beautiful sight! If your kid loves nature and insects or just animals in general they have to, and I mean have to, at least try this once.
