First off, this is a fun game to play with a group, and it does seem to capture some of the feeling a contestant on the original Match Game might have felt onstage. But if you watched the game originally or in reruns on GSN, you're in for some disappointment. There's no effort to revive the original music, and while the DVD does capture the voices of the orignal celebrities (and Gene Rayburn), they're portrayed in multiple still shots. How difficult would it have been to edit the footage, or to use the same music from the original show? And why are only 5 celebrities shown (not the show's 6)? Fremantle seems to have created what seems to be a cheap knock off of their own product. Still, it's not a bad game to play, just disappointing: they could have done so much more.
