This product is a well done version of combining Monopoly and Pokemon together. However, there are a few cons to it. First, the metal pieces that you get with it are of low quality. They look like mutant Pokemon and only somewhat resemble their actual form. Second, the board that comes with the game is small and not very large, so there is not a lot of room to place items on the board. Third, the instructions require the player to have previous knowledge of Monopoly by playing the original or one that came out shortly after that. If you are new to Monopoly, do not start out with this game!
The good side to this game is that the artwork is amazing on the board. Really well done pictures and representations that represent the Kanto region well. However, Professor Oak looks a little big large around the waist in some pictures. Also, the game plays almost like regular Monopoly, so if you are used to playing Monopoly, then you will enjoy this Pokemon take on it. Basically everything has been transformed into Pokemon; from the money, to the houses, which became PokeMarts, and hotels, which became Pokemon Centers. If you can get over the lack of rules and the poor metal quality of the pieces, then it will be a really fun game to enjoy!

A very good translation of Monopoly into the Pokemon world. You do need to have played traditional Monopoly
to be able to play this version and understand the concept of the game. We have given up on traditional Monopoly
and now play the Pokemon version instead. The metal playing pieces do lack detail and it's hard to tell which is
Pikachu and which is Eevee. However, my 9 yr old son is a Pokemon fanatic so we use pieces from his huge collection
of Pokemon figures to move around the board. I think it adds to the fun of the game. I would recommend this game to
fans of Monopoly and Pokemon.
