My daughter received this purse as a gift for her 3rd birthday. Firstly, it is VERY tiny, her hands barely fit into the opening. Secondly, it is a purse good for perhaps a 6-9 month old in terms of size and texture however, it would be a choking hazard with the small pieces. When my husband and i first opened it we thought it was a $3 gift. Our daughter did not spend more than a minute with it and tossed it to the side. Definitely NOT a gift for a 3 year old and a cheap looking gift. For the price, you can find MUCH better gifts. Dorys

The makeup compact is about an inch and 1/2 all the way around. The Change opurse I just had to throw away because it is a choking hazard for my 10 month old, only 1 inch by 1 inch. The purse itself is about 3 and 1/2 inches by 5 inches. It was much smaller than I had antisipated. Great purse but small. Would be better for a 2 year old that is no longer putting things in their mouth.

I have purchased this purse for every little girl in my life. It is the perfect toy for church, restaraunts, and for just "toting" about.
