    Well, I am so bummed! I recently bought two anteaters for my grandsons via Barnes & Noble. My review faults the product ordered, NOT the service or delivery of the product. I was familiar with Uncle Milton's Ant Farms, as a retired elementary teacher, and typically had set-up a farm each year. The company was always reliable and their products were of top-notch quality. I have only heard from my daughter regarding the anteater that went to NY. The batteries used were new and unused, inserted properly, but would not activate the suction. She called the manufacturer and discussed the problem with customer service. Unable to solve the problem over the phone, they immediately sent her another one as she returned the first. Sadly, the second one would not work either; so, there we are, trying to figure out what to do next. Fortunately, that one went to my patient and understanding two-and-a-half-year-old grandson which may explain why I haven't heard from the older one. It's such a great idea and I'm trying to keep my grandkids focused on non-computer-programmed curiosity in Nature. I will continue to pursue this until we get one (two?) that works!

    Bought one as a gift for my daughter. Put batteries in and it would not work. Sent it back for a replacement and the replacement would not work either. In both cases, battery placement was double checked and multiple batteries were tried. This is not our first bad experience with an Uncle Milton product; it will definitely be our last.

    Bought 2 different ones in 2 different cities, both defective, didn't work :-(

    Very disappointing product. Have purchased it two different times in two different cities Barnes and Noble, neither product worked at all.
    Very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend getting or will disappoint your child when it doesn't work.
    By the way it is Made in China.
