    An All Day Family Project

While I paid more than I usually do for a puzzle, my money was well spent on the NYC cityscape 4D puzzle. Five people, ages 21 to 89, built Manhattan from the ground up, remembering favorite places or pointing out famous places for future visits. There was conversation going on during the whole process. The completed puzzle is so beautiful that we haven't had the heart to tear it down and put it back in the box.

    Bad execution of interesting concept

Having lived in NYC for 12 years, I was very disappointed in this puzzle. Carnegie Hall is not located on Fifth Ave at 92 St. It's on 56th.

Broadway is just Broadway, not Broadway Street. I stopped doing the puzzle.

Whatever company built this had a great idea. Too bad they didn't check a map of NYC when they created it.

    Fun for Adults and Kids!

I purchased this for my grandson's 11th birthday. I wanted to get him something unique and was trying to stay away from more video games. He enjoys puzzles as well as building things so this ended up being a perfect gift. It is not your ordinary puzzle! We completed it together and it was challenging but lots of fun finishing the different levels. Since we have both visited New York City we talked about places we have been or would like to visit. It also gave us the opportunity to talk about ancestors who arrived at Ellis Island and the tragedy of 9-11. It turned out to be a masterpiece and made a nice display piece when completed. I wondered at first if it was going to be worth the money but it certainly was. He's already talking about how "cool" it would be to do another city.(future Christmas gift!) The puzzle pieces for the 2nd layer are foam and interlock very well, but if one falls on the floor you don't hear it drop - so be careful! A nice out-of-the-ordinary gift for any puzzle lover.

Enjoyed this puzzle very much. Hard to read the numbers on the buildings and did not understand why some were in grey and others in bronze. One building - #116 was missing. I almost finished it....hadn't the heart to remove the twin towers !
Now I am looking to but more like this.
