Sturdy construction? Museum quality??? Talk about false advertising!
This is not a jigsaw puzzle, but something closer to a model. (It does not really succeed at being either.) You punch out pieces which are shaped like building sections and put them together by inserting tabs into slots. You must also punch out the hundreds of little slots, and often enlarge them. There are no diagrams, and there are many pieces that are designed as hidden connectors or stabilizers. I think that a six-year old would get frustrated punching out all the little slots (which require something reasonably sharp) and trying to figure how to assemble everything with no diagrams and a picture from only one direction of the finished piece. Furthermore, the foamcore center is wafer-thin and bends easily when you try to insert tabs into slots. (The flying buttresses are especially difficult to keep from bending.) There were a number of pieces where the printed paper was peeling away from the foamcore and a few more with stray ink.
The accompanying booklet, in Chinese and English, contains numerous factual errors, misspellings, and... well, the English starts out tolerable and ends up as what a friend dubbed Changlish -- what you might get if you translated each Chinese word separately into English, without regard to grammar or sense.
I not only would not recommend this to anyone, I would never again consider buying anything from this manufacturer (Daron) of junk. It was simply money thrown into the garbage, as this "puzzle" will be shortly.
