My wife says it's a "toy", but I see it as something engaging. I have this on my desk at work. I take a piece or two out of the box and add it to the maze throughout the day. My co-workers come by to admire the work and add a piece or two. They drop some balls and watch them go through the maze. It is a great stress reliever and quite honestly, adds some color to my otherwise drab work area. I would recommend this to everyone, kids and adults alike. Be patient with the puzzle, it takes a while to get it put together and make sure that it doesn't tip.. I have found that I consistently forget to build a stable base. So keep that in mind when you start..
