We love all the plan toys, so when I saw this it was a natural choice for my two year old. The pieces give us lots chances for talking about colors, matching, counting and creative stacking as well as being a good solid simple puzzle.

O.k I have to admit my 12 month old didnt get this toy when I first got it. He is 13 months olf and is starting to take intrest, however it does require a parents or caretaker involvement (you have to participate and show your child). Far cry from a batter operated toy, however much more benefical! Very well made!
