Shape Sorting Cube

Poor workmanship

I bought this toy for my son and was highly disappointed with the quality of the wood. It was flimsy and the holes had not been sanded properly, allowing for splinters to occur on small children's hands. I would NOT recommend this product at all, in fact, I returned it!

We got this toy for our 20-month-old who loves to sort shapes. The first several times we played it, we had the hardest time (me included) finding where all the shapes go. The pentagon and octagon looked the same and you can't easily turn the toy around to find the shapes. I love the Melissa & Doug line of toys, so this was dissapointing. I'm hiding it in the closet until we're all old enough to figure it out.

disappointed

the shapes are very close together my daughter just learned how to open the box and putted every pieces in it (she is 18 months)!!! another problem is that when some pieces are in the box, some holes are plugged then you have to turn it for her !!!
It is a good challenge for parents

Very happy with this product.

This is a really nice shape sorter. My son is three and can do this with a little difficulty. I think this could be very frustrating for a child under 2 1/2 without a hand from mom or dad.

Bought for a baby gift and was very pleased with the quality.

I recommend this company for quality toys and puzzles. I really love Melissa & Doug stuff.

very thin wooden cage, you can break it easily. Very disappointed.

Great for children older than listed

The product wrapping has 2+ as the age, not 1-2 years as the website indicates. The shapes are smaller than I had anticipated and definitely a bit too small for a 1 year old that is still putting everything in her mouth. I will look forward to getting it out when she is a little older because the toy is great.
