    A MUST BUY...

    Okay I am a crafty mom and make just about everything from scratch; however, I can remember as a child shrinky dinks. Just 2cool and I thought I must buy this for a family project and let my kids share my fav childhood craft. I was right they loved doing this. My husband even colored one (laughing) so share family time and try this next year. I promise you will be happy with your decision.

    Great activity with my niece!

    Even though the age was 7+ I decided that my 5 year old niece would get a kick out of it. She did a great job of coloring all the various shapes in (and stayed within the lines). But it was up to me and my mom to cut out the decorations, my niece punched all the holes (after I showed her how to) and I baked the items (which is totally fine), my niece loved watching the skrinky dinks skrink!

    My niece also then had the responsibility of decorating the tree. It was a fun afternoon activity and I wouldn't worry about the age restrictions for someone as young as 5 if there is adult supervision.

    The colored pencils were great colors and the other supplies given were useful and provided so I didn't have to hunt down random needed supplies (i.e. single hole punch).

    If they did this again for another season or holiday, I would definitely purchase it again to do it with my niece!
