    Drains Batteries within 1 day!

    We received this as a gift for our 6 month old baby. It came with 3 AA batteries that we used first. They lasted for just 1 day. We must have used it for less than one hour in that day. The next day I had to replace the batteries. I thought the batteries that came with the toy must have been bad. So I used brand new Duracell the 2nd time. They also drained out within a day. I replaced it a 3rd time and same thing happened. I called the Vtech Customer service to complain and see if they can fix the problem. They said I needed a receipt for the purchase or I should have registered the toy for their warranty. They did not offer to replace or fix the problem. The toy is really good but too bad we'll have to throw it away. I cannot keep replacing the batteries everyday. Apart from that this toy also contain BPA and PVC apparently. Also, I will never again buy Vtech toys because they do not stand by the quality of products. And if I receive a Vtech toy as a gift for my baby again, I will return it without opening it.
